This disturbs me greatly, but it doesn't surprise me.

While wandering dA, I noted that one of my favorite artists had posted a new pic. It was a nearly naked woman in a seductive pose, and, while the artwork was good and the topic was...interesting...there was no reason for me to treasure it.

Fast forward a few days. I check it out again for...references...and it has a few comments. I check them out, and I quote, "Deep...so full of meaning. I love it!" And, "So cute!"

What the fuck are you guys on?

Maybe its just me, but isn't it a bit odd for you guys to be reacting to something that was born out of perversion like its the Mona Lisa? And its not jsut that one drawing--everything on dA like it is treated that way. I'm sorry if you draw that kind of stuff, but I've been there too. Its not so special. You're just thinking with your rump. And cute doesn't quite describe the images I see here either.

Sorry to rant, that just bothered me.
